Last year, I had the pleasure of visiting Norway on vacation with my family. We spent two weeks traveling around the country, staying in some lovely hotels and immersing ourselves in Norwegian culture.

After visiting, I’m convinced that Norway is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, and it deserves to be on any bucket list of places to visit.

Over the last couple of years, Norway has gained popularity as one of the most scenic countries in the world.

With fjords, mountains, and snow-covered forests (even in the summer), Norway truly seems like the home of fairytales.

If you have always wanted to visit this wondrous place.

Here are my top 10 places to visit in Norway for sightseeing.

While there are hundreds of other worthwhile destinations, these are sure to provide the most amazing experience possible!

1.Oslo

No trip to Norway is complete without spending time in Oslo. It is an exciting city with plenty of shopping, a lively nightlife and several must-see attractions.

It is the capital of Norway and it is one of the most popular cities in all of Scandinavia.

Oslo is a beautiful city that combines the best of European culture and Scandinavian design.

It has many museums and historical sites, including the Nobel Peace Prize Museum and The Viking Ship Museum.

The architecture in this city is breathtaking. You can visit the Akershus Fortress, which used to be the King’s Castle in 1814-1815.

Pulpit Rock or Preikestolen/Prekestolen is a very popular place in Norway. It’s located in the municipality of Strand in Rogaland county, Norway.

The road to Pulpit Rock from the parking lot goes all the way up to Norways highest point, which is at 875 meters or 2,887 feet above sea level.

You can continue up the mountain from there, but it is a very long hike. The path up to Pulpit Rock is a shortcut to the view and worth taking.

You will be treated to amazing views, the ocean and surrounding islands. There is pulpit rock church too.

The area where this church once stood has been turned into a memorial grove dedicated to those who have lost their lives on Norways mountains.

One of Karasjok’s most famous attractions is the Icehotel, a building that was crafted out of ice and snow.

In the summer, it receives 12 hours of sunlight per day. There have also been many efforts made to reduce light pollution in the area.
